Karma & Life #2

January 30th, 2008

For one year and one month the Karma of thought has been abandoned while I regressed into myself seeking solid meaning and direction for the days and years of my future self.

How easily the commercial consumer human is led about by the desires of his eyes.  Want enters the brain wave of primal desire where “I want” becomes “I need” and “Must have”.

When does the mind stand and order the body/brain to cease from the material and physical blood lust for more?

Holidays pound our pockets while the body gains pounds.  Where is there even one random act of kindness?

Brain Thought plays hop-scotch through the days of our lives and leads us to the Karma of endless distraction.

Karma & Life

January 29th, 2008

There has been a drought of Thought Karma: Life got in the way.

Life does that sometimes: enters the minds of Poets; the hands of Artist; the feet of movers and shakers; the do-ers and shuts them all down during adversity.

Life turns the pages for too quickly for the writer to record the moment.

There are white caps and waves across our small lake.  The swift wind is cleaning out the tree’s weakest limbs, preparing them for the ice of winter.

Somehow the roses maintain their petals; These fragile colored folds do not fight the wind.

This is the moment in my back yard; caught in a glimpse, only to fly off; yet the moment will remain, caught on this page.

Like the wind, Life will either break us or teach us to sway with the rose and dance the Dance of Life during the moments of adversity.

Karma & Choice

January 28th, 2008

Seeking to regain that which is lost has a cost: the loss of the moment.  The mind leaves the moment and splinters itself into the sections of should have, would have, could have, I might have done ‘it’ differently.

No matter what “it” is in the present or was in the past, ‘it’ remains the illusion; the conjured memory which only destroys the present for the cause of the past.  Progress forward comes to a stand-still.

Many long and viscous wars have been fought on this premise.  The promises of future successes have been stripped bare in the cause of rectification.

Yesterday set straight in the cause of tomorrow is accomplished without any thought given to the high price of sacrificing of today.

Yesterday is a sarcophagus filled only with yesterday’s decay, now useless to us.

Tomorrow’s destiny sought is the same:  Seeking, ever seeking, only creates yet another expensive box filled with tears shed too early to be of use.

Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

Likewise, sufficient for the day is the good thereof.

Choose this day which you will serve for this moment of this day.

Karma & Trust

January 26th, 2008

Good, Sensible, Sincere, Real: The qualities which evoke Trust.

There are no levels of Trust.

“I trust that guy just so far” is not trust.  It is merely wise caution.: Similar to walking in tall grass knowing snakes are there; or walking on river ice knowing the blue ice will not hold our weight.

One or more of those first four words is missing.

One word missing, one attribute jaded, trust is negated.  It is this trust that unites the souls of the planet.  Language is never the barrier between souls.  To become ‘one’ with another is to trust.  This is the soul-mate sought.  This is the partner searched for.  This is the joining of the two or the the many.  This is the union without boundaries.

The fighter pilot fights.  His wing man guards.  The dynamics between them in the air or on the ground is Trust.

Fear and caution do not enter in.

Peace and Trust have joined.  Whom shall I fear?  Of whom then shall I be afraid?

We have absolute power residing in us to create a circle of fear and mayhem around us: or an ever widening circle of Trust; thereby increasing inner Peace.

This joining, one with the one or the many, births the future of infinity found.

All decisions to join cause a birth, a beginning of the continuation of us.  It takes at least two in order to experience Trust.  The child of Trust is Peace between the initial two.

Karma & Creation

January 23rd, 2008

Quiet the mind to a place of no mind and transcend the boundaries that our presence places on the awareness of our surroundings.  The shadow that is cast hiding our lives from us is our own.

We see through the glass darkly because we would much rather view the obstacles in the shadows than the light on the clear path; the beacon leading us toward the positive possibilities of the present.  It is these lighted moments that create yet more light.

Our future is our next thought casting yet another shadow or light in the continual process of creating shadow to shadow or light to light.  Either choice is a progression toward Peace or Non-Peace.

Our thoughts are the permentant cobblestones laying out our chosen path.  We think our path into existence, living out our thoughts in Peace or Non-Peace.

Karma, Left & Right Thinking

January 23rd, 2008

If there is a true Left, there must be a true Right.  If the Left is right, then the Right is wrong.  If there is a right and a wrong; if both have predictable outcomes; then both right and wrong are viewed as Truth.  At this point the double side of Truth becomes visible:  Peace vs. Non-Peace; Freedom vs. Bondage.

Hence, the saying: “If we do not turn back, we may get to the place where we are going.”

We get on a path that culminates in either Peace or Non-Peace.  There is only one word for Peace-Truth: PEACE. “The Truth Shall Set You Free” equates to Total Peace.

If the Peace you find is wrong for you, then you will never attain freedom while there.

Non-Peace words fill the dictionary.  Situations all have their own representative non-peace words.  The greater part of human/animal/plant life dwells in the sea of non-Peace words.

We must check out our chosen Path often and determine: Left or Right: Not only for ourselves; but for our universe.

Karma Clock

January 17th, 2008

Life does not happen on schedule.  Each element has a clock all its own built in.

Science is tampering with the clock.

Every living thing has the ability to reproduce itself.  Left alone by science, that which is living will follow its internal clock.  At this point in time we are still given a choice to elect personal autonomy or scientific intervention, which we often ruinously call intelligent educated advancement.

An excellent example of this phenomena is our planet is in the midst of a population explosion supported with a food crisis looming in the background; while we grow corn to feed our transportation instead of our bellies.  Yet scientifically, we have extended the human life span by decades over the past one hundred years.  Following all of these additional years added to our internal calendar the scientific intelligentsia complains it is far too expensive to feed and adequately house the aging, non productive elderly.  This wheel of created time now reproduces itself.

Science has fiddled with the Karma Clock.  Now the Karma Clock must continually adjust its inner workings.

We do not control the natural incident of our arrival or our departure when left to itself.  We do, however, control in some measure the times in between.  Banning a sudden interruption by hapless circumstance, we are left with the clock in our control.

Control has names: reason, choices, changing course, new direction, scientific advancement, and so on.

We are now responsible for the timing, the tinkering and the outcome as it relates to the surroundings and situations.

Exactly how many Karma Clocks are there with in our reach on any given situation?

Could there be Quantum Parallel Karma Clocks?

Once again we are responsible as to how we handle what we have come to call fate.

The Western Mind Set gave sudden change or the unexplained event a Greek name: FATE.  The Greek word sounded more solid and believable than the flux found in Eastern Karma.  It would appear that we have given Karma even more flux to work with in light of all our now questionable advancement.

Karma & Friendship

January 15th, 2008

The Listener:  everybody needs one in their life.  Someone other than their own internal thought train.  Then a true new thought pattern comes to light.  This is true HELP.

Karma & Harmony

January 14th, 2008

Music has no beginning.  In this particular universe, we humans claim for ourselves the first three notes: ‘Let There Be’.  These three notes turned stagnant void into the eternally changing universe progressively revealing itself to us in direct proportion to our level of perception.

Music Karma has many faces: lull a child to sleep, chant to a god, or a mob, swoon in rhyme’ to the rhythm of lovers, stamp out a beat to the guns of war, loudly wail at the sight of sudden tragedy, or mourn beside the fresh turned earth of a grave.  All these cast their particular note into the vibration pattern of our planet recording the event.

Be it the wings of insects, the call of birds, the play of children, elephants and whales, wolves and more: all are music.  The symphony never stops.

Each sphere in our universe has a unique note. Each planet, moon, ring, asteroid, comet or cosmic particle hums a note all its own.  The humming becomes a part of the symphony that registers our existence in the greater playing field of space.

Standing high on a mountain on a crystal clear night when the hand can reach up and touch the lights of the universe, quietly, if we would but listen, we would hear the distant hum of a star and know that we are small.

Karma & Credibility

January 11th, 2008

It is the account of the matter that must be considered.  The extensive telling is not always the truth of the matter at hand; rather only the truth of the one telling the tale.

The account is the building block referring back to the pure fact of the matter, unedited, unexaggerated, unembellished; that being the account itself, without reasons for the matter or outcomes predicted.

The account stands on the account.

Consider the account; consider where the account entered your personal self space.

Know that your findings will remain only with you and in direct proportion to how The Self is viewed in the presence of the account.

    About

Life #4 began in 2000. I found and married my high school sweetheart, 42 years later. Paul is a scientific psychologist. I am a mix; artist/writer/singer; often called Renaissance Woman. We both believe in partnerships. Therefore, this Blog is about relationships: pairs, families, nations, planets and galaxies. We are not alone. Entities pair up, even if only with themselves; creating black holes.
